An undisclosed injury has forced reigning flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson from the main event of April's The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale event.

Johnson was slated to defend his crown against division standout John Moraga, however, the bout has since been scrapped according to UFC officials on Tuesday.

A tilt between fellow world-ranked bantamweights Urijah Faber (27-6) and Scott Jorgensen (14-6) will now serve as the headliner, UFC President Dana White later announced. The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale takes place on April 13 at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Events Center. In the co-main event, the unbeaten Cat Zingano makes her Octagon debut against ex-Strikeforce titleholder Miesha Tate.

A former WEC featherweight champ and two-time UFC title contender, Faber has gone 3-2 since joining the UFC in 2011. After defeats to champions Dominick Cruz and Renan Barao, "The California Kid" rebounded last weekend with a first-round submission victory over veteran Ivan Menjivar.

Jorgensen too got back on the winning track last December with a submission win over John Albert in a "Fight of the Night" performance. The former WEC bantamweight title contender has also gone 3-2 inside the Octagon, with wins over Ken Stone and Jeff Curran.
