Report: Matt Riddle, Francisco Rivera Receive Suspensions Following Failed Drug Tests At UFC 149

Matt Riddle and Francisco Rivera are the latest addition to a list of fighters serving suspensions after testing positive for banned substances.

According to a report by MMAJunkie.com on Thursday, Riddle tested positive for marijuana, while Rivera was caught using an over-the-counter stimulant following their victories at July's UFC 149.

Both fighters reportedly received 90-day suspensions retroactive to the July 21 event date, technically clearing them to fight by this weekend. Neither fighter's victory will be overturned to a no-contest ruling.

Riddle stopped striking standout Chris Clements with a third-round arm triangle choke, earning himself an additional $65,000 in post-fight bonus money for "Submission of the Night" honors.

Rivera, meanwhile, notched his fourth-straight victory after knocking out The Ultimate Fighter 14's Roland Delorme in the opening round of their bantamweight scrap.
