Report: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira And Fabricio Werdum To Coach 'TUF Brazil 2'

It appears the coaches for "The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 2" are in place, as world-ranked heavyweights Antonio Rodrio Nogueira (34-7-1, 1 NC) and Fabricio Werdum (16-5-1) will reportedly oppose each other during the upcoming season.

Brazilian news outlet Globo SporTV reported the news on Tuesday, stating that verbal agreements are in place for both coaches who will eventually lock horns at the conclusion of the show. UFC officials, however, have yet to announce any news regarding the upcoming season.

The show is expected to begin airing this March in Brazil and feature a cast of welterweight contestants.

Nogueira previously coached the eighth installment of The Ultimate Fighter opposite Frank Mir, while Werdum served as an assistant coach to Wanderlei Silva on the debut season of TUF Brazil earlier this year.

Both fighters previously crossed paths at the PRIDE 2006 Openweight Grand Prix Quarterfinals in a bout which saw Nogueira walk away with the unanimous decision victory.
