Bellator 83 Set For December 7 In Atlantic City; Lightweight Tourney Finals Slated

Bellator’s Seventh Season recently kicked off and saw New York’s own Lyman Good capture an impressive Welterweight Tournament Quarterfinal victory in front of a sold out Caesars Atlantic City crowd. The promotion returns to The Garden State for Bellator 83 on Friday, December 7th from Caesars Atlantic City. The night will feature the Bellator Season 7 Lightweight Tournament Finals, the return of Jessica Eye, along with a host of preliminary fights yet to be announced.

The event will broadcast live starting at 8 p.m. EST on MTV2 with the preliminary card streaming live and free on Spike.com starting at 6 p.m. EST.

“After a sold out Bellator 74 that had the Caesars crowd on its feet, coming back to Caesars Atlantic City was an easy decision,” said Bellator Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney. “Our Lightweight Tournament is stacked, and the winner will walk away with a tournament prize of $100,000 and a guaranteed title shot for our coveted Lightweight Championship.”

The Bellator Season 7 Lightweight Tournament will begin October 19th, and is headlined by Rich Clementi, Tiger Sarnavsky, Rene Nazre and Ricardo Tirloni.

The 8-1 Jessica Eye will also return to the Bellator cage on the heels of a five-fight win streak.
