Zorobabel Moreira vs. Kotetsu Boku Lightweight Title Bout Booked For ONE FC 6

A lightweight scrap between Zorobabel Moreira (7-1) and Kotetsu Boku (18-6-2) is set for ONE FC's October event; a bout that will determine the promotion's first 155-pound champion.

Promotion officials announced the title bout late Sunday.

ONE FC 6: "Rise of Kings" takes place on October 6 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, and is headlined by a lightweight affair between Shinya Aoki and Arnaud Lepont. Additionally, Leandro Issa and Soo Chul Kim will meet in a bantamweight fight to crown ONE FC's inaugural 135-pound titleholder.

Moreira is currently riding a five-fight win streak, including a perfect 3-0 run under the ONE FC banner. In his most recent outing, the Brazilian finisher infamously stopped UFC vet Roger Huerta with a barrage of violent soccer kicks at June's ONE FC 3 event.

Boku, meanwhile, is on a streak of his own having found success in his last four trips to the ring. The Shooto, Dream and King of the Cage veteran — who holds notable victories over Hermes Franca and Eiji Mitsuoka — will make his promotional debut with ONE FC on October 6.
