Seattle's Key Arena Named As Venue For December's 'UFC On FOX 5' Event
The Ultimate Fighting Championship's final event of the year on FOX will take place at Seattle's Key Arena, promotion officials announced late Tuesday.
UFC on FOX 5 takes place on December 8 and is headlined by a lightweight title clash between reigning champion Ben Henderson and division standout Nate Diaz. Other main card bouts for the event include Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. Alexander Gustafsson and B.J. Penn vs. Rory MacDonald.
Ticket information and additional bouts for the winter event are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The UFC has visited Seattle only once before, stopping in March of 2011 for UFC Fight Night 24, which was headlined by a light heavyweight scrap between Phil Davis and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
