A welterweight clash between Seth Baczynski (16-6) and Simeon Thoresen (17-2) is the latest bout announced for October's fast-growing UFC 152 card.
UFC officials announced the match on Tuesday.
UFC 152 takes place on September 22 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre and is headlined by a flyweight tilt between Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson to crown the promotion's first 125-pound champion. In the co-main event, Michael Bisping meets Brian Stann in a pivotal middleweight scrap.
Baczynski is currently riding a five-fight win streak and has tasted defeat only a single time under the UFC banner. In his most recent outing, the Power MMA representative notched a close-fought split decision over Lance Benoist at UFC on FX 3 last June.
Thoresen too is on a streak of his own, having won three-straight including a submission win over Besam Yousef in his Octagon debut last April. Of his 17 career victories, 15 have come by way of submission with only one going to the judges' scorecards.
