Andrei Arlovski vs. Soa Palelei, Jens Pulver vs. Eric Kelly Booked For August 31 ONE FC Card

ONE Fighting Championship's August card continues to grow with the addition of Andrei Arlovski (17-9) vs. Soa Palelei (17-3) and Jens Pulver (26-16-1) vs. Eric Kelly (7-0).


ONE FC representatives confirmed the pair of bouts early Monday.


ONE FC: "Pride of a Nation" takes place on August 31 at the 17,000 seat Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines. Other fighters expected to compete at the summer event include Shinya Aoki, Renato "Babalu" Sobral, Phil Baroni, Igor Gracie and Gregor Gracie. 


Arlovski recently got back to his winning ways after scoring a pair of knockout victories over Ray Lopez and Travis Fulton respectively. The former UFC heavyweight champion hit a rough patch from 2009 to 2011 with four consecutive losses, however, bounced back last year under the ProElite banner. 


Palelei, meanwhile, is currently riding a seven-fight win streak — all which have come by way of knockout. In his most recent outing, the 35-year-old Pride Fighting Championships veteran earned a 12-second knockout over journeyman Bob Sapp last May.


Pulver recently picked up his fourth win in six outings after earning a unanimous decision over Jesse Throton last April. The UFC, WEC and Pride vet appeared to be at the end of his career after suffering six consecutive losses from 2008 to 2010, however, has since rebounded with a handful of wins on the regional circuit.


Kelly remains undefeated as a professional, including a 2-0 record under the ONE FC banner. In his most recent trip to the cage, the 30-year-old earned a unanimous decision over Bae Young Kwon at ONE FC's June event.
