Siyar Bahadurzada Signs With Authentic Sports Management, Joins Florida's Blackzilians Team

UFC welterweight slugger Siyar Bahadurzada (21-4-1) marks the newest high-profile fighter to join the Blackzilians team.

On Monday, Bahadurzada announced that he has signed with Authentic Sports Management and subsequently joined Florida's growing mega-camp.

"I signed with Authentic Sports Management today and I'm with the Blackzilians now," Tweeted Bahadurzada. "If you think of a dream MMA team, it will consist of American wrestlers, Brazilian grapplers and Dutch strikers. Blackzilians offers that!"

The Afghan fighter — who previously spent time training at Mark Munoz's Reign Training Center — joins an all-star cast of fighters who call the Blackzilians camp home, including Alistair Overeem, Rashad Evans, Anthony Johnson and world champion kickboxer Tyrone Spong under the tutelage of UFC veteran-turned head coach Mike Van Arsdale

Bahadurzada is currently riding a seven-fight win streak, including a successful Octagon debut last April when he knocked out Brazilian submission standout Paulo Thiago in just 42 seconds. The knockout marked his sixth in his last seven outings. Originally scheduled to meet Thiago Alves this summer, Bahadurzada is now scheduled to take on Chris Clements at July's UFC 149.
