Paul Sass vs. Matt Wiman Booked For 'UFC On FUEL TV 5'

A lightweight tilt between unbeaten submission standout Paul Sass (13-0) and multi-time "Fight of the Night" winner Matt Wiman (14-6) has been added to September's "UFC on FUEL TV 5" card.

UFC officials announced the bout on Monday.

"UFC on FUEL TV 5" takes place on September 29 at Nottingham, England's Capital FM Arena and is headlined by a heavyweight clash between Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic. Though not confirmed, British slugger Dan Hardy is also expected to compete at the event.

Sass remains unbeaten as a professional, including a perfect 3-0 run inside the Octagon. Even more impressive, however, is that nine of the Brit's thirteen career victories have come by way of triangle choke. In his most recent outing, the 23-year-old tapped Jacob Volkmann with a first round triangle armbar at last month's UFC 146.

Wiman too found success in his latest trip to the Octagon after earning a unanimous decision over Mac Danzig last October. The victory marked his fourth in five outings, having also bested the likes of Shane Nelson and Cole Miller.
