Dan Hardy vs. Amir Sadollah Targeted For 'UFC On FUEL TV 5' In Nottingham

As expected, British slugger Dan Hardy will compete at September's "UFC on FUEL TV 5" card in Nottingham, England, promotion officials announced on Tuesday.

Hardy (24-10) will meet The Ultimate Fighter 7 winner Amir Sadollah (6-3), likely on the main card portion of the event which airs on FUEL TV. A featherweight tilt between Jason Young and Robert Peralta was also announced for the event on Tuesday.

"UFC on FUEL TV 5" takes place on September 29 at Nottingham, England's Capital FM Arena and is headlined by a heavyweight clash between division standouts Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic

Hardy recently snapped a four-fight losing skid, knocking out Duane Ludwig at last month's UFC 146 and earning "Knockout of the Night" honors in the process. The victory marked his first in two-and-a-half years, having suffered consecutive defeats to Georges St-Pierre, Carlos Condit, Anthony Johnson and Chris Lytle

Sadollah too found success in his last outing, earning a close split decision over Wand Fight Team's Jorge Lopez last month. The win served as his third in four outings — his lone defeat in the past two years coming at the hands of Duane Ludwig.
