A featherweight showdown between division standouts Hatsu Hioki (26-4-2) and Ricardo Lamas (11-2) has been booked for June's UFC on FX 4 event.
UFC officials announced the bout on Wednesday.
UFC on FX 4 takes place in New Jersey on June 22 and marks the promotion's fourth live event on the FOX-owned cable network FX. In the headliner, top-ranked lightweights meet as Gray Maynard locks horns with Clay Guida. A third lightweight tilt between Sam Stout and Spencer Fisher is also booked for the summer card.
Hioki remains unbeaten in six-straight outings, including a perfect 2-0 record under the UFC banner. In his most recent bout, the former Shooto champion earned a unanimous decision victory over WEC veteran Bart Palaszewski at February's UFC 144.
Lamas too remains unbeaten since entering the Octagon last year, scoring a pair of stoppage victories over Matt Grice and Cub Swanson. In his coming-out party, so to speak, the 29-year-old submitted Swanson during the UFC's November debut event on FOX.
